Success Women’s Conference announces dates for 5th-year event

GULFPORT, MS — SUCCESS Women’s Conference, celebrating its 5th year, will be held Sept. 19-21, 1010, organizers announced Thursday.
The event, which has sold out every year and has expanded from a 2-day to a 3-day experience, is the largest women’s conference in the state and attracted attendees from 12 other states last year.
Dorothy P. Wilson, Kearn Cherry and Tiffany D. Bell again are teaming up to direct this transformational event that inspires, empowers, connects and recharges professional women.
The conference began in 2015 with 550 attendees and is expected to draw 1,500 women this year. Because of that success and continued growth, the conference has expanded to three days, adding personal coaching sessions, an expanded expo experience and new tracks.
This year, GROW Labs for entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and nonprofit directors will open the conference. A re-energize track aimed at women dealing with stress, burnout and career transitions is also scheduled on Sept. 19.
On Friday, nationally recognized keynote speakers will highlight the second day, which also includes multiple sessions and a Top Influencers Award Breakfast. Attendees also can browse the expo or attend a demonstration and network with other professionals.
Saturday’s session offers attendees the opportunity for personal coaching and some downtime with various excursions.
Sponsorship info is available to emailing successwomensconference@gmail.com.
Tickets will go on sale in May, but those interested can join the waitlist to be notified first when tickets sales start. The conference has sold out in each of the past four years.

About Success Women’s Conference
The event, really a movement, was conceived by Kearn Cherry and Dorothy P. Wilson in 2015. Kearn, owner of PRN Home Care, and Wilson, publisher of Gulf Coast Woman magazine, dreamed of creating an experience for professional women that would help them refocus, learn, connect and have fun. As companies tighten budgets and entrepreneurial ranks grow from layoffs, professional women increasingly need opportunities to hone their skills, find mentors and sponsors and be inspired to grow. The first Success Women’s Conference was held in August 2015.
