MeLisa Dill is the COO of The Virtual Savvy where they help aspiring Virtual Assistants launch, grow, and scale their own at-home business from scratch. MeLisa’s expertise is in developing strategies, project management, team management and day to day operations management.
MeLisa was working at a local seven-figure company as the operations manager when she decided there was more to life than serving someone else’s purpose. But having four kids and in the middle of building a house, not having a good income wasn’t an option. MeLisa wanted to put family first and her next move would need to keep them in mind.
MeLisa has always been a self-starter and entrepreneur. Her goal was to find an at-home job that would give her the financial freedom and flexibility to take care of her kids but still bring in an income. But like many moms know, trying to find legitimate work from home jobs can be a challenge. After much prayer, research, and council, she found online virtual assistance.
Using a course provided by The Virtual Savvy, MeLisa replaced her previous income by working as a VA within 4 months. After breaking into this industry, MeLisa saw immense opportunities and furthered her knowledge-base to become a Certified Online Business Manager.
MeLisa’s growth caught the attention of the owner of The Virtual Savvy, Abbey Ashely. Abbey brought MeLisa onto the team and the two became a force to be reckoned with. MeLisa’s drive pushes her to continue her education and last year she earned her Director of Operations Certification. MeLisa’s expertise and determination have helped to grow the business to a thriving seven-figure empire. She describes it as a full circle moment being able to help grow the business that grew her. MeLisa is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and helping others learn how to achieve the same flexibility and freedom she has obtained.
MeLisa’s career in the US Navy brought her to the Mississippi Gulf Coast where she has been a resident for over 20 years. She is married to a local fireman hero and the have four amazing boys together. She affectionately says she gets to be the queen of her castle.
