Kimaka Bowens is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing Science; focus area Family Nurse Practitioner She received her degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Kimaka is no stranger to the healthcare industry having spent over nineteen years in healthcare serving in multiple levels of nursing, beginning at an entry level Medical Assistant expanding to Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
Kimaka specializes in Urgent Care, Women’s Health, and Immunotherapy. She provides care to patients across the entire lifespan ranging in age from 6 months through geriatrics. In addition to her career in healthcare, Kimaka is also the President of the Non-Profit Nursing Organization, Black Nurses Rock Mississippi Gulf Coast Chapter and a Mary Kay Consultant. Kimaka’s varied background to include: Nursing, Community Service, and having been a pregnant teen has all shaped her to be the caring individual she is today.
