As the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast, Keva Scott is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the organization. Keva is dynamic leader that hit the ground running when she took over as CEO of a struggling organization in 2015. She quickly applied her 18 years of experience to set it on the right track. In all facets, it is healthier than it has been in more than 7 years.
Keva earned a B.A. in Communications and Business from Auburn University, a Master in Business-Organizational Development from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) from Auburn University. Keva has designed many programs to reach at-risk youth, received millions of dollars in program grants, partnered with over 150 different organizations/businesses to reach goals, and recruited and trained over 1,200 staff and volunteers, all of which enabled her to touch the lives of more than 10,000 young people with programs and services in her 22 year career in youth development.
Before joining BGCGC, Keva served as Chief Operating Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee in Nashville, TN. Her focus was on leadership and community partnerships, led to improved operational efficiency, strengthened program services, and drove organizational growth. Prior to that, she held executive management positions in operations and resource development with Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in Kansas City, MO, Auburn, AL, Norfolk, VA, and Opelika, AL. Scott also served as a National Training Associate for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
