Dorothy Patrick Wilson is a brand strategist, coach, speaker and author. She publishes Gulf Coast Woman and Gulf Coast Weddings magazines and produces MyCoastHome TV show, The Bridal Experience and Bride Ride. Her latest book, “Unboxed”, released in June 2019 (unboxedbookproject.com). She and her husband, James, own Mighty Men Movers MS, LLC.
She is co-founder of the Success Women’s Conference, which inspires, connects, empowers and recharges women at a sold-out event each year in September. The conference (www.successconference.info) attracts thousands of professional women from across the U.S. and has been named a Top 10 Conference for Professional Women. Known for her creative strategies and passion to empower women, small business owners and nonprofit organizations, she has been recognized by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Women Business Champion and by the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi as Humanitarian of the Year (2019). She has received the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce’s Pat Santucci Spirit of the Gulf Coast Award; and Tom Tandler Lifetime Achievement Award. She will receive national recognition in October from the National Association of Business Owners as a Top 10 Business Owner. She is co-chair of Lighthouse Business & Professional Women; chair-elect of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce; and a director of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community Foundation. Her speaking engagements and coaching sessions compel participants to take a leap, be intentional and get out of their own way.
She and her husband have two sons, Tech Sgt. James Evan Wilson, Keesler Air Force base; and James Patrick Wilson, Gulfport High School teacher.
